Involtini di mortadella formaggio e pesto di basilico



Ingredients:

  • 250 g (9 oz) mortadella

  • 1 jar of pesto

  • 2 eggs

  • Breadcrumbs

  • Vegetable oil

  • Sliced cheese


Instructions:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan.

  2. Open each slice of mortadella, place a slice of cheese and a spoonful of pesto in the center, and roll them up tightly.

  3. Dip each roll in the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.

  4. Fry the rolls in the hot oil until golden brown.

  5. Once cooked, place the rolls on paper towels to absorb excess oil and serve them hot.
